Tips for just starting your career

Tip one

Revaluation of its value in the labor market is an eternal problem of young specialists who, basically, have practically no work experience. Not all employers are ready to hire employees without the slightest work experience, and those who still take risks do this with the realization that almost everyone will have to learn a young man.

Well, for all of us, it has long been known that education in our country is not so high-quality, and a person with a manager or economist diploma will not be able to immediately take the desired position, since, simply put, his knowledge will be enough for a maximum of work Secretary. In order to be successful graduates of eminent universities, you have to sweat no less than graduates of technical schools. People who have already tried their hand at the work of an economist or manager are well aware that their knowledge is not enough, and it is not worth applying for a high salary.

Nevertheless, “green” students, coming to get a job for the first time, are asked to pay more on average 500-1000 hryvnias more than a person with experience. Here it is worth considering: where is the logic in this?

The first rule of a successful career is to always evaluate your capabilities realistically, and during the interview, put the emphasis on the fact that it is more important for you to gain valuable experience than a large salary.
Tip two

The main argument when hiring a person without work experience is the enthusiasm and desire to work for the job seeker. If you really want to work in a particular company in a particular position, you should show how much you want to work, how much you want to gain valuable experience in this particular position, in this particular company. After all, if you do not want this much, then you can forget about the position. Instead, you will find a person with experience and great zeal.
Tip Three

You must be prepared for an interview. Otherwise, you simply lose the possibility of a positive outcome. Believe me: unpreparedness can be forgiven for a person with great experience, but never for a beginner. You must bring along a resume, a portfolio of any student work (if any), choose the right clothes and be sure to rehearse all possible answers to the most varied questions of the interviewer.
Tip Four

If you are not eager to leave an educational institution without work experience, you can start working already while studying at a university. Believe that you will have more chances to get a job after graduation, if you have at least a year of experience.
Tip Five

Learn languages. If you know at least one foreign language, your chances of getting a job are higher than those of people who know the maximum, Ukrainian and Russian. This is due to the fact that now more and more companies are attracting foreign partners and investors to their business, expanding their business. Accordingly, if you can communicate freely in at least English, you will be very valuable to the company and most likely you will be able to quickly climb the career ladder.
